Vaults
The fours vaults, built in 1529, were once used as refrigerator for meat.

Nowadays the vaults are suitable for smaller marriages, anniversaries and birthday parties up to 50 people. The rustic vaults offer a unique setting for enjoyable festivities.

In case you want to celebrate in a undisturbed way, you can tab beer yourself. A flat rate will be charged for that. Please contact us for a personal offer.
What ever meal you plan for your celebration, e.g. suckling pig or slightly curved pork rip, we will present it professionally and palatable tasty.
Rittermahl
Lasset Euch entführen, in das mittelalterliche Hildesheim!
Mit der Einkehr in den Katakomben dieses Wirtshauses feiert der Vogt des Bischofs kräftige Feste und bittet zum mittelalterlichem Mahle. Der Schankknecht bietet Euch allerlei Gesöff bis zum Überlaufen. Bier, Wein, Obstgebranntes, Säfte und, und, und, solang Ihr könnt. Der spaßige Küchenknecht sorgt mit Speis, soviel der Wams vertragen kann. Mit viel lustigem Drumherum werden diese Abende eine unvergeßliche Zeitreise sein.

Central point of the “Knochenhaueramtshaus” is the bar.

Starting at 9 o’clock in the morning with a large breakfast buffet untill late at night having a beer after work, we will pay the same attention to every guest.
The appearance of the partially open frame-work creates a warm and comfortable ambience.
We will spoil our guests with delicious meals, cakes or desserts a la card.
We will offer our guests a tasty “ Einbecker” beer. Our friendly service will make you feel comfortable.

Table for regulars
Right next to the entrance you will find a table for our regulars. From this table you will have a view to the historical market square and Hildesheim’s town hall.

The “Knochenhaueramthaus” has a long history. Drawings which can be found in the house describe scenes from the different epochs.

Guild Rooms
The carpenters’, the dressmakers’ and the shoemakers’ guild rooms are decorated with original handcraft tools.

The guild rooms are on the first floor and can be reached by elevator or spiral staircase. From some places the bar downstairs can be seen.
In the carpenters’ guild room the old couch invites you to make yourself comfortable.

Tradition an handcraft are reflected in all of our rooms. A collection of tools and products of that period are exhibited here.

Ballroom
Our ballroom is suitable for a variety of festivities, like marriages, seminars or visits of tourist parties, looking for the right setting.

A good service for all of our guests is ensured by beer taps on every floor. Up to 200 guests can be hosted in the ballroom.
